About the Role

The Warehouse Supervisor assists the Warehouse Supervisor in all activities to ensure the accurate, timely and safe receiving, storing, release, replenishment and inventory of materials to support production operations and business profitability needs.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the receipt and storage of all raw materials, items and supplies to ensure compliance to quality specifications and food safety standards to establish products’ suitability for consumption. Ensures the same careful handling and storage are applied to fixed assets;

  • Supervises the regular physical counting of inventories, ensures bin cards are up to date and participates in the month-end inventory to determine business profitability, uncover theft, locate discrepancies and allow management to make informed decisions;

  • Delegate responsibilities and manages warehouse staff development including orientation, coaching, counselling, disciplinary action and performance appraisal;

  • Leads warehouse personnel to execute a consistent and reliable storage of materials and a well-managed inventory movement to support the operations of the Central Bakeshop;

  • Coordinates with related departments to ensure the timely and accurate release of requested materials; establish and address root causes of variances, guarantee materials availability and inventory reliability, and ensure the food safety and quality;

  • Employs safety stocking strategies that allows the warehouse to act as a buffer to ensure that supplies meet production demands;

  • Takes all reasonable effort to safeguard inventories from various risks – theft, deterioration, fire, etc.;

    Requests for the replenishment of exhausted materials, ingredients and supplies needed in the various processes of food manufacturing;

  • Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse to preserve the integrity and utility value of all raw materials, items and supplies and takes appropriate action;

  • Verifies the accuracy of material releases to prevent inventory variances and ensure production meets required product quality and quantity output;

  • Reports to superiors all materials and supplies concerns (spoilages, stock out, damages, pilferages, and other significant issues);

  • Reports food safety incidences to superiors to intervene against actual or suspected threats and protect consumers’ interest and business integrity;

Performs related duties that may be assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor.


Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Parañaque City: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)


Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent;

  • At least 1-4 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;

  • Required Skill(s): Knowledge of GMP, HACCP and Food Practices, Knowledge of Good Warehousing Practices, Knowledge of Food Defense and Allergen Control, Warehouse Management, Inventory Control, Work Coordination, Performance Monitoring and Reporting;

  • Willing to work in Merville, Parañaque City
